User Problem:
The problem is users aren't offered personalized summary options tailored to their work experience and
skills. This is a problem because it reduces the effectiveness and relevance of their resume.
Launched Version 1.0
We generate a professional summary based on their existing input. Before they arrive, a modal promotes this feature. Once on the page, they’ll see a widget above the text editor, allowing them to generate a summary up to five times.
Example of use-case:
When the user reaches the summary page – they will see a pop up stating that we
have generated five personalized summaries for them based on the information they’ve inputted. After
clicking ‘continue’ – the first generated summary populates in the text box. The user can then generate up
to 4 more AI summaries, while also toggling back to the previously curated ones to find their best fit/
Version 2.0
Collaborate with the Design Lead to ensure compatibility with the 'Enhance' feature. Users will still be able to regenerate or apply AI-generated content, while also having the option to add items from the example list on the left or write their own. They can then use the 'Improve' button to enhance the content.
Impact
Successful implementation of this innovation resulted in 8.30% converssation rate lift
● The country segmentation showed lifts for all countries
● The winning variant showed lifts throughout the funnel and especially at BoF
● ~90% of users saw an AI generated summary
● In the winning variant 28% of users ended up generating an AI summary more than once
● Of the users who generated an AI summary, only ~1.3% proceeded to the next page with an empty
summary section.
